We have grown since the creation of the Conservative Party in 2004. That year, we received 18.9% of the vote, increasing to 20.1% in 2006. In 2008 and 2011 our candidate, Lisa Lumley, finished second with 22.6% and 31.6% of the vote respectively. In the 2015 election, despite a decrease in national polling, we still maintained an average above 18%.
Conservatives in our region are incredibly proud of the projects and funding that the prior Conservative Government delivered to Windsor Area.
Not only have we funded a new bridge, we have also provided funds to the province to help pay for the Parkway and loans to the state of Michigan to help pay for their portion of the costs.
Our Government provided $7 billion in loans to the automotive industry that saved thousands of jobs in Windsor.
Through the economic action plan, Windsor received more funding for infrastructure projects than any community in Canada. Windsorites should be proud of the work that Conservatives have done.
More importantly, we should be asking why Brian Masse voted against funding every single one of those initiatives.
In 2019, we are going to provide the people of Windsor West with a choice between a prosperous future under with a new Conservative Government. A choice to change the status quo of having a MP that votes against jobs, investment and development and would be once again part of a THIRD Party Opposition.
Replacing Brian Masse with a Conservative Party Windsor West MP in the next election would be great for Windsor! We are now preparing, making this the perfect time to become involved. We need monetary donations and volunteers to help outreach to Windsor residents well before election time. With an early start, and with a united effort we will achieve the change in leadership we need for Windsor West.
