This notice is to advise you that the date, time, and place of the voting location for the Conservative  Party of Canada nomination contest in the  Electoral District of  Windsor West  follows:     

Candidate Nomination Vote    

Where:  Holiday Inn 1855 Huron Church Rd. Windsor Ontario   

When: Sunday June 9th , Doors open at    5:30pm   


Call to order and candidate speeches will begin at 6:30pm. 

Voting will begin immediately after speeches/debates and continue to 9:00pm.    

Your Candidates: Henry Lau and Rinku Shah   


To be eligible to vote, you had to become a member of the Conservative Party of Canada by  Thursday,  May 16th, 2019  or if your members hip has lapsed within 90 days before the vote date, you can renew  here

As per the Constitution of the Conservative Party of Canada, in order to vote you must provide  identification using either:   

•  One original piece of identification issued by a Canadian federal, provincial or territorial  government agency containing the member’s photograph, name and address,  


•  Two original pieces of identification, which contain the member’s name,  one of which contains  the member’s photograph and one of which contains the member’s address.  


Please note that the identification requirements shall be subject to the exercise of discretion by the  returning officer or equivalent to waive specific require ments where exceptional circumstances warrant.   

Our EDA Board of Directors, and Nominating Committee is proud to  announce our CPC Windsor West Nomination Night on Sunday June 9th, at  the Holiday Inn (1855 Huron Church RD).

5:30pm - DOORS OPEN (Attendees to begin confirming their membership/voting status)

6:00pm - Welcome and O' Canada

6:15pm - Introduction speeches from nominees (Henry Lau and Rinku Shah)

6:30pm - Debate/Questions from Nominating Committee Moderators

7:00pm - Questions from the audience

7:30pm - Membership voting begins.

by approx. 8:45pm - (after tabulating/verifying the ballot votes, announcement of Windsor West CPC candidate for 2019)

by approx. 9:00pm - Speech from elected WW CPC Candidate

by approx. 9:10pm - MEETING END


Starting 9:15pm CPC EDA of WW, Special Board Meeting to add new board  members. in the same room (electing up to 30 Board of Directors).

Henry Lau

         Henry Lau has been living in Windsor since 1983, a professional tool & die, mould maker and a successful businessman in the manufacturing business for automotive industry, with St. Clair College education in the skilled trade and business management certification.

        Henry has been married to Bridgett since 1992,  a father of three children who all graduated from the universities in Ontario, Samuel, Sarah and Daniel. He is a family man.

        Henry serves Windsor communities as a volunteer since 1999.  He was the board member and 2nd vice president of Canadian Association of MouldMakers, the president of Essex County Chinese Canadian Association and the advisor of Windsor International Relation Committee.  Currently he serves as the board member of Windsor Full Gospel Mission Church, the board member of Ka Wah Community Housing of Windsor, the board member of Windsor West Conservative Association and the president of Windsor West PC Association.  He is a long time volunteer serving Windsor.

         Henry has the passion and vision to make Windsor a better place for business and job creation, making Windsor the gateway of Canada for the world. 

        He is already to fight for Windsor West in the next Conservative government as a member of parliament in the coming election.


Rinku Shah

Rinku Shah is an Indian Born Canadian Citizen working towards betterment of Community with a mission that “The Only way to achieve real lasting change is to come together as unified forces.” 

“My Vision is to celebrate and honour women’s achievement in thought, leadership, action & Support women’s ideas, because I believe that their ideas are powerful forces for change.“

Rinku is CEO & Founder of School Of Flavours Ltd established in 2016 with an aim to coach and nurture special need kids & Food Entrepreneurs. 

Rinku has been working with one of the largest charitable organization called PLASP, which provides care & learning to more than 15,000 children from over 13,000 families including Ontario. 

Her Organization School of Flavours Ltd is a growing Canadian corporation towards facilitation of bringing overseas companies in packaging, Food Processing & food products to open up in Canada which will provide better employment opportunities for Canadians. 

Actively organized multiple Seniors, Religious, Multicultural community events and Kite Festival, and brought people from diverse communities together under one roof which can make a significant contribution to the economic, social & Environmental fabric of the country. 

Rinku has been active member and rendering services to multiple associations like Ronald McDonald BAPS Canada, ICCC, PLASP, Hindu Heritage Center, and many more.
